General Terms and Conditions

Offer and Booking
We provide the customer with an offer which is based on the customer’s individual wishes concerning the tour. The booking must be done in writing. The booking is binding as soon as the customer receives our confirmation in writing per fax or e-mail. Booking our services the customer accepts our General Terms and Conditions. All oral agreements must be confirmed in writing.

Services
The type of the contractual service is written down in the offer and/or in the confirmation. The duration of guided tours ranges from 2 hours up to 11 hours depending on the agreement between the customer and us.

Fees
The fees for guided tours stated in the Regulations and Rules of the Tourist Office Munich are applied for all services. VAT will be added. For guided tours requiring a specific preparation an additional fee will be charged. This also applies to guided tours which take place from 10 pm to 6 am.

Payment
According to the Regulations and Rules of the Tourist Office Munich the fee agreed upon must be transferred to the guide’s bank account before the beginning of the tour unless otherwise agreed. All bank charges are paid by the customer.

Entrance fees
All entrance fees for museums, palaces, exhibitions and other sights must be paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Groups
The maximum number of participants is 25 for guided walking tours and 20 for visits in museums and exhibitions.

Termination of the contract by the customer (cancellation)
The customer can terminate the contract anytime before the start of the guided tour booked. The termination must be done in writing.
If a service is cancelled

• between 14 and 5 days before the start of the service, 50 % of the fee agreed upon will be charged.

Should the customer wish to terminate the contract

• 5 days or less than 5 days before the start of the guided tour, the full price will be charged.

A failure to appear is considered as a termination of the contract by the customer. In case the customer fails to appear at the meeting point, the full price will be charged.

Delays
In case the customer is delayed, the guide waits 30 minutes at the meeting point. Then the guide leaves the meeting point and the full price will be charged.

Liability
The customer participates in all tours, guided walking tours, sightseeing tours, guided visits at trade fairs and other events at his own risk. The guide is indemnified from any kind of liability.

Place of fulfilment and court of jurisdiction
Munich is the sole place of fulfilment and jurisdiction. German law will be applied.
